August & September Empties.

You may or may not have noticed that in August I didn't do an empties post.
I had hardly any products to show you but over the month of September they have accumulated greatly!

I've decided to use up a lot of my products that were half full or less because I'm terrible for switching up my products before they're finished.

So first up is body products!

Tesco Soft & Smooth Hand & Body lotion - I only use this on my hands and have for years. I find that it's the only hand lotion that works for me no matter what else I try!

Nair hair removal cream - This is just the original formula and I really didn't think much of it. I prefer the newer options and probably wont re-purchase this unless I can't get any thing else.

Impulse Magical Glamour shower gel - I really love this scent! I got about 4 gift sets with this in at Christmas and only now am I finishing them all up! I didn't find this shower gel particularly moisturising , but as a shower gel - it did it's job!

The Pink Cow A Very Quiet Body Scrub - I love love love this scrub and it smells ridiculously amazing! It's got a really gentle coconut fragrance and works fantastically  However it leaves a horrible residue in the bottom of the bath (but what body scrubs don't?).

Ayuuri Body wash in Sandalwood - I loved this shower gel (and so did my boyfriend). The scent is very uni sex and a little goes a long way! I received this in a Glossy box and know that you can get it in Tesco.

Sure Long Lasting perfection deodorant - pretty boring really, just an armpit spray. It's nothing revolutionary but it's not awful either.

Nivea Invisible protection deodorant - really not a great product, i mean it didn't stain my clothes but it was so moist, and that's not what I want from a roll on!

Hair care products.

Dove Intensive repair mask - This is a product I was trying to use up and only got one use from it (I'd already used the majority of it). I wouldn't label it as an 'intensive care' product but it was ok. There are much better products for a similar price.

Charles Worthington mineral hair rescue - you know I love this product ... I don't need to go into too much detail .. but it's amazing, I highly recommend it!

Lee Stafford Treatment for hair that never grows past a certain length - I picked 3 of these up when boots were having a 3 for £12 offer (I basically got these for half price!). They are good as a mask but I'm not really noticing a difference in growth (but that's a whole different blog post).

Uniq one all in one hair treatment - This is a sample product I got form a beauty box and I really like it. I've used it as a leave in conditioner as well as an all over mask - just a shame the sample was so small!

Wilkinson heat protection spray - For just a pound this product does it's job just as well as more expensive alternatives.

Charles Worthington moisture seal conditioner - I loved this conditioner, but I am a conditioner whore, I'm always trying new brands! I would 100% re purchase this product!

Fragrance

Karl Largerfield Sun Moon & Stars -I wore this all the time from about when I was about 12-15 and it always brings back great memories! I got one squirt from it last week as it was practically empty!

Ghost - Another fragrance I wore as a teenager and loved!

Marks and Spenser Butterfly EDP - This was a gift for Chistmas and I wore it all over the new year period and again have such good memories associated with this scent (is any one else like this?). It's such a light and girly scent and the perfect size to carry in my bag!

Skin Care

Tesco Cucumber Cleansing wipes - my usual wipes. They get the job done and are only 99p!

Tesco Sensitive cleansing wipes - I picked these up because there were no cucumber wipes in the shop and I was in desperate need! I didn't like them as much as the cucumber ones.

L'Oreal Dermo expertise eye make up remover - My favorite make up remover - I get through this stuff so quickly!

Taaj Make up remover - (this has a fancy french name but it's make up remover!) I loved this product and its on par with my L'Oreal make up remover. I received it in a Jolie box but have yet to find a UK retailer!

Mac makeup brush cleanser - Not really skin care but I thought I'd chuck it in this part anyway. It's a good brush cleaner but I probably won't buy it again as it's a bit pricey for what it is.

L'Ooccitane D'angelique hydrating Creme - A fantastic product! I loved using this. The only down side was the smell. It has a very herbal scent which I don't like but  it made my skin feel amazing!

Nail products.

Elagant Touch nail polish remover -This polish remover was excellent but I felt like it really damaged my nails!

NYC top coat, Grand central station - My Favorite drug store top coat! It dries fast and gives a great finish!

July Empties

This month's empties is very scarce!

I don't know what's happened this month but I have just 4 products which I've used up!

I've been switching up my hair, skincare and make up routine this month so maybe that's where the blame lies!

First up this month are some cotton buds pre-loaded with make-up remover.

 Unfortunately there's no branding on this product but I cant tell you these cost me about £1-£2 from Savers.

They are an excellent product and I've already bought my next pack. They do a great job of just wiping away those smudges! And they're much cheaper than the brand sold in boots (which are about £5).

3 hair products this month!

Left - Pure Coconut Leave in conditioner. 

I love this product! I picked it up on a whim and just can;t get enough of it. I haven't re purchased as I have other leave in conditioners I want to use up first. However this will certainty be back in my basket when the time calls for it!

and it only cost a few pounds from Savers!

Middle - Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair 

This is another hair care product I can't get enough of!

I always put this on my hair after washing it and It never fails to leave it looking nice and silky!

This was another Savers purchase!

Right - Leo Bancroft Bungee hair elastics.

Now I have cheated a bit with this product as I haven't technically 'used it up'. They way I use hair bands is I try to use the same one for as long as possible until I either loose it or leave it somewhere, i.e the car or my bag. These little beauties are scattered all over the place and they do a great job to relieve stress on my hair when I'm wearing it tied back.

This pack costs £3.50 for a pack of 6 from Tesco.

June Empties

First off I want to apologise for my lack of quality blogging recently!

Life has been mega hectic the past 2 weeks or so.

During these two weeks I've had to move into the smaller bedroom in my house!

(You may notice a different background in my pictures!)

This rom is decorated a lot nicer than my old room so I'm considering doing a room tour? Is this something you're interested in, and if so what would you prefer, pictures or a video?

Let's jump into my June empties!

Tesco Cucumber Cleansing Wipes

I love these wipes and I think I've gone through 3 packs since the middle of may! They are gentle on sensitive skin and work well to initially clean your mke-up off your face before you cleanse.

L'Oreal Nutri-Gloss Light Shampoo & conditioner

My hair dresser recommended these to me back in January as my hair gets greasy quickly. To be honest I do not rate these at all. If anything my hair became greasy looking a lot quicker than normal. Also the conditioner weighed down my hair quite alot for a product that's branded as 'light'.

Charles Worthington Moisture seal Conditioner

I love this conditioner. It helps to keep my hair light (and does not make it look greasy at all!) I've been a fan of Charles Worthington hair care for a while now but only picked this conditioner up recently. If I wasn't on a spending ban I'd snap this up again right now!

Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Rescue

This has been a staple product of mine for well over a year now and I love it! I really feel like it does so much good for my hair and it feels just like a treatment from the salon!

Collection 2000 Hotlights lip gloss - 4 Sparkle

As you can see this product isn't empty - but it's seen better days so I thought it was time to say bye-bye and would include it! I like this lip gloss but I don't think it's anything special. I do love the packaging. There's a mirror on the side and lights in the lid! Great for re-applying in a club!

Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara - Black

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. It was pretty cheap and was amazing! I gave my eyelashes ones of volume as well as length and it has excellent staying power. As soon as my buying ban is over I will 100% be re purchasing this!

Tesco Soft & Smooth body lotion - Aloe Vera, Cocoa Butter % Vitamin E

Now I don;t go through 3 of these a month but they were kind of 80% used so I decided to finish them this month. I use these as a hand cream and have done for  years. The aren't greasy or sticky like other had lotions I've used and cost around £1 each. Sometimes the smell drives my insane because they are highly scented but I just keep going back to them. (I don't recommend these as body lotions as they aren't up to much!) 

Bliss Vanilla and Bergamot Body Wash

This came as part of a set with a body scrub and a body butter (both of which I love!) But I'm not a fan of the body wash. It has a stronger smell than the other products and I just don't like smelling it!

Sure Women Cool Blue Deodorant 

Pretty standard product, It works!

Again sorry for the lack of quality posting, I'm spending a big chunk of today writing product reviews, more posts and my June favourites!

May Empties

This is my first empties post and I have to say I love the idea!

Knowing that I will be uploading this post at the end of the month gives me motivation to use up my products before buying more!

I have a range of hair care and body care products this month.

First up is make-up remover:

I love love love the L'oreal Dermo-expertise Gentle Eye Make Up Remover. It's a product I have repurchased and will continue to do so.

Garnier Simply Essentials 2-in-1 Make Up Remover is one I really did not like. It leaves an oily residue on the skin and took a while to remove make up. I will not be repurchasing this.

For Hair styling products:

John Frieda Frizz Ease Thermal Protection Serum. This is the first heat defence serum I have used and have re-purchased! It's so light weight and effective!

Wilko Dry Shampoo. I am not impressed by this dry shampoo at all! It leaves a lot of white in your hair no matter how hard you try to rub it in or brush it out. I also feel like it does noting to make my hair less greasy.

I love both of these Hair care products.

Charles Worthington Mineral Hair rescue - I use this every other time I wash my hair and it always makes my hair feel light and well conditioned.

Lush Hair Doctor - This intensive hair mask is great for every hair type and is something I have re-purchased.

And finally some body care products.

Bliss Body Butter - Blood Orange and White Pepper was a sample in a Glossy box. I find this body butter extremely moisturising and have bought the full size of it! (I loved it so much I even had to cut open the bottle just to get every last bit!

Nair Hair Remover for Sensitive skin is a great alternative to shaving. I much prefer using a hair removal cream as I find it much gentler on my skin and this one is great!
