July Favourites

It's that time again!
I can not believe that it's August already! I don't think I'll ever get used to how fast time flies!
So onto the good stuff!

First up is skin care.

from left to right.
Taaj Eau Micellaire Makeup remover.
I received this at the beginning of the month in my Jolie box. At first I just left it in my cupboard as I was happy with my L'Oreal dermo expertise make up remover. But 2 weeks ago I started to use this much loved product which has received tremendous hype in the blog world. And I have to say I agree with it all. It's extremely kind to the eyes and is effective in just 2 swipes.
Tesco Soleil Facial sunscreen
With the spat of warm weather the UK experienced last week this has been a 100% essential in my everyday routine. It doesn't leave the skin looking shiny and soaks in nicely.
Yon Ka Pamplemousse Moisturiser.
This is another Jolie box product. I always thought I had dry skin but it turns out it's just de-hydrated. When I use certain products on my face my skin can get oily and this moisturiser is amazing! It smells delicious!
Uvisport Lipscreen
Another product to combat the effects of the sun. Lips are quite often neglected when it comes to sun care and I've been very keen on it recently. This moisturises as well as protects. Also the cap turns purple when the UV rays are high, advising you to re-apply.
Origins Spot Remover
Another products which is absolutely raved about in the blogesphere! This little beauty has been constantly in my bag since I bought it at the start of the month. With this my spots are gone in 2 days and it has been particularly handy this months as I've been uncharacterised spotty!

My Make up favourites of this month are a mix of old and new products.
Clockwise from the top:
Beauty Blender Dupe
If you saw my recent post on my latest ebay purchases then you'll know what a bargain this is.
Keep your eyes peeled for a full review soon!
Vivo Baked Bronzer - Healthy Glow
This is another product which has featured on my blog recently. I love this powder and used it every day as a highlight on my cheek bones and my tear ducts. Its so natural looking and is a great dupe for MAC mineralize skin finish - soft and gentle.
Sleek Brow Kit
I'm sure you've all heard of this product before! I kind of have an on-off relationship with this product and this month It's been on my face everyday I've worn make up.
Bobbi Brown Corrector - Light Bisque
I've heard alot about this product for a long time and never got around to purchasing it. Well I finally bit the bullet and went for it. I wasn't expecting much as I don't really have dark under eye circles (which the main purpose of this product is to cover them up) but it does help to brighten up my eyes and help with the skin discolouration I have there.
Maybelline 24 HR Colour Tattoo - On and On Bronze
This is a great colour just to sweep across the lid or to use in the crease.
It lasts all day on me (which is rare for eye make-up) and helps my eyes to stand out alot!

Just some random faves now:

Music:
Stooshe!
I have gone crazy for this British girl band. They have such a great sound.

And Rita Ora's How we do has been on repeat!

Trey Songs - Simply amazing is my final music fave of July!
I'm not really a Trey Songz fan but I have been loving his 2 latests songs (This one and Heart attack)

Blog:

June Favourites

There isn't a whole lot of favourites this month, It's short and sweet!

First up is a non beauty related favourite!
Yankee Candle in Sweet Pea.
It smells amazing and I've burnt it so much but it's hardly gone down at all!

The Body Shop Body Butter - Moringa
I love Body Shop's body butters and I love the smell of this one! To me it smells like pollen and flowers and I just can;t get enough!

Superdrug Optimum Day Cream
I've been using this for a while now and at first I didn't like it and it took a while for my skin to get used to it but now it's a staple in my skin care routine. Some days I do deviate from it, but never for too long!

Ayuuri Body Wash
I got this in April's Glossy box and have only just finished my last body wash (check out my empties post to see that). I love the fragrance of this and it's lovely and creamy!

Rihanna Re'belle Perfume
This is not the type of fragrance I typically wear but I love it. It lasts all day, which is brilliant!

Rimmel Match Perfection Gel Foundation
I use this foundation everyday, abvoe my Bare Minerals foundation and Mac Face and Body. It gives me the right amount of over all coverage and instantly gives my complexion a boost. It lasts about 6-7 hours with primer which is good for a 'drugstore' foundation. It is also so light weight on the skin!

Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Mascara
Another Glossy Box Product! I recieved this in my last Glossy Box and I'm over the moon with it. I'm gutted that it wasn't a full size product and cen see myself running out pretty quickly so I'm trying to use it sparingly. The shape of the wand means it grabs on to all of your lashes and coats them evenly.

What products have you been loving through June?

May Favourites

Brace yourselves for a long one girls!!

There are a few products I've been LOVING this month!

Elie Saab perfume.
The top note opens on a sun-kissed, radiant orange blossom, as an ode to light.
The middle note develops into a jasmine absolute, a legendary flower in perfumery, imparting voluptuousness and elegance to the fragrance. It combines with a pure, modern patchouli heart.
The base note unfolds into a cedar woody accord adding character and a lingering trail, while the honey rose envelops the composition in a beautifully addictive note..
I have never smelt anything like this perfume before and I just can't get enough of it!

Body care products I have been enjoying this month are;
Exfoliating gloves - I use these in the shower and they are perfect for scrubbing away at any dead skin.
St Moriz Fake Tan - This month I tried fake tan for the first time and I think I'm hooked! and at £2.49 a pop it's not an addiction that will break the bank.
Bliss Body Butter Vanilla & Bergamot - I received a sample sized bottle of this body butter in a glossybox and when I saw a set containing the body butter, body buff and shower gel in a charity shop for £5 I snapped it up straight away!
Bliss Body Buff Vanilla & Bergamot - this is such a great gentle exfoliator. And it smells amazing x

Bliss Body Butter - has such a gorgeous texture.

Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream. As I child I always used oilatum products as I suffered with eczema and when I saw this in boots I didn't think twice about giving it a try. It has been great for my dry sensitive skin and I use it everyday!

This month I've been really keen on hair care and love these products.
Lush - Hair doctor, such a great hair mask!
John Frieda Frizz Ease Thermal Protect serum (read about this product here)
Pure Coconut Leave In Conditioner - this is a new addition to my hair care routine and I can see the improvement since using this after every wash.

And finally - My favourite make up of may.
Bare Minerals Original Foundation - I picked this up recently in a set from Debenhams. I use the shade Fairly light and love how it feels on my skin. It is not at all heavy and is great for these summer days.
Natural Collection Cream Blusher Rosy Pink - this is a great shade for summer skin! Its a slightly peachy toned blusher, and I love cream blusher in the summer as a multi purpose product.
Bourjois Bronzing powder - I use this bronzer everyday to contour. In summer bronzer is a must have for me! This works great and smells amazing. I have shade 51 and it works so well on light skin tones,
Mac 'Watch Me Simmer' - I can not get enough of this lipstick. If I had to pick one product out of all of my favourites which I like best, it's this one. The colour is just so summer appropriate! I've been wearing it so often this month!
Topshop Blusher 'Prime Time' - another cream blush I'm loving is this one by Topshop. It's the first piece of Topshop make up I have bought and I am so pleased with it. I love bright pink blush and this one doesn;t dissapoint.

Top: Mac Watch me Simmer
Middle: Topshop Prime Time
Bottom: Natural Collection Rosy Pink

My music favorite for may is John Mayer's new album 'Born and Raised'

It's only been released for a week but it has been on repeat in my car (and my boyfriend's) ever since I got my hands on it! It's such easy listening and I strongly recommend it!

What products have you been using regularly in May which you love?
